Summer camp scholarships for young francophiles
Launched in 2023, our scholarship program sends kids to a week of in-person French summer camp. All levels of French are welcome.
Eligibility
Who can apply
- Be a member of AFdeLA (or become one with a one-year membership)
- Be 5–11 years old
- Be a California State resident
- All levels of French are eligible
Scholarship placement depends on camp-week availability.
How to apply
A drawing and a letter
- From the child (5–11): a drawing of what pops into your mind when you think of France.
- From a parent or guardian: a cover letter (in English or French) on why your child is a good candidate.
- Email both to admin@afdela.org with the subject “Summer Camp Scholarship.”
