The Test de Connaissance du Français is awarded by the French Ministry of Education for people who wish to have their French assessed and certified for professional, personal, or academic reasons. Results position you on the CECRL scale from A1 to C2.

Registration
How to register
1. Download the TCF registration form using the button above. 2. Complete it in CAPITAL LETTERS and attach a copy of your photo ID. 3. Email your application to our TCF administrator at tcf@afdela.org — no later than 15 days before the exam date. 4. Once we receive your form, we process the exam payment and send you a receipt. Results
You receive reading and listening comprehension results as soon as you finish the test. Within 2 weeks we email a duplicate of your certificate with final results; France Éducation International sends the official paper certificate within about 3 weeks. Bring a prepaid USPS envelope with tracking to receive it by mail.
Preparation
We offer 6, 12, or 18-hour prep packages reviewing each test procedure and reinforcing all four language skills — plus periodic TCF B2 prep workshops. Helpful free resources: TCF on TV5Monde and TCF on RFI.
