DESCRIPTION:Register here!  \nMonday\, February 26\, 2024 | 4pm PT\nFederation of Alliances Françaises USA in collaboration with Telescope Film\nIn English \nOne Film One Federation (OFOF)\, in collaboration with Telescope Film\, presents French Cinémathèque – a celebration of Francophone cinema offering a curated selection of monthly films from January – December\, 2024. AF Chapter members worldwide can enjoy the monthly selection on specified streaming platforms followed by a free hosted discussion with industry experts. \nThe monthly discussion will be lead by Aude Hebert. Aude has had a distinguished career in the promotion of French cinema\, including positions with the Forum des Images\, the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight\, the Paris Cinema International Film Festival\, Unifrance\, and Le Public Système Cinéma.  She has just taken a new position as the Head of Film and TV for the Villa Albertine in Los Angeles. \nTelescope Film\, the only site in the US exclusively for international film and TV\, now offers a dedicated page for France. From the classics of the French New Wave to the latest series\, the French page on Telescope is a home for fans of French film and TV. \nFebruary: La nuit du 12 / The Night of the 12th (2022)\nDirector: Dominik Moll\nStarring: Bastien Bouillon\, Bouli Lanners\, Anouk Grinberg\, Mouna Soualem\, Pauline Serieys\, Théo Cholbi \nTwo detectives\, Yohan and Marceau\, are assigned to investigate the case of a brutally murdered woman. Yohan obsesses over the case and agonizes over the pervasive misogyny\, while the older Marceau is ready to quit his job. As the case unfolds\, Yohan realizes that this case is hurting him more deeply than his previous cases. \nDiscussions will take place on the fourth Monday of each month. Participants are encouraged to watch the films via streaming before attending the discussion.
